James Everett a.k.a. Jazzy J

James Everett a.k.a. Jazzy Boog Soulfire is a phenomenal dancer with an impressive career path. He was a member of the iconic Electric Boogaloos, later belonging to the third generation of The Lockers, and the founder of the LA City Rockers. Known as one of the pioneers and experts in Popping, he is also renowned for his distinct Locking technique that blends elements of Hip-Hop, Breaking, Punking, and Waacking.
Recognized for his frequent appearances on television shows, dance videos, prestigious stages, and theaters like the renowned Apollo, he also served as a valuable mentor to dancers globally.

A living legend, whom we are honored to introduce as one of the inductees into the Street Dance Roots Hall of Fame.
